B. Contribution to undergraduate research training:
Developed a course, Introduction to Biomedical Research, at undergraduate and honors level. Mentored and trained over 224 undergraduate students in independent research projects and published 90 papers with undergraduates as coauthors.
C. Contribution to graduate and postgraduate research training:
Trained ten graduate students with three currently under training. Trained twenty-two postdoctoral fellows with an additional two in training,. Served on over 30 graduate research student progress committees, published 165 papers with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows as coauthors or first authors.
D. Contribution to ongoing training:
Hosted six scientists for a minimum of one year as visiting scientists on sabbatical leave.
