To further characterize human platelet 12-lipoxygenase interaction with the integrin subunit B4 functionally and physically. To determine the effects of 12-LOX inhibitors and 12(S)-HETE on hemidesmosome in prostate cancer and A431 cells. To study the signal transduction pathway(s) that underlie the disassembly/assembly of hemidesmosome by 12(S)-HETE or 12-LOX activity and B4 integrin in PC-3 cells and A431 cells.
